
Wallace Middle School had their Fun Fabulous Learning Day on Tuesday, May 20. Students participated in a variety of activities such as Ninja Warrior,
Jiu Jitsu, 5 on 5 Basketball, College Football 25, Board Games, Chef for the Day, Chess,
Peruvian Huayruro Seed bracelet making, Color Me Calm, Dairy Farm Tour, Escape Room, Hyrox, Self Defense, Roller Skating, and Wire Jewelry!











🎉 Spring Fun + Fabulous Learning = One Amazing Day at Wallace Middle School!
Students at Wallace Middle School got to step outside the usual classroom routine and dive into a day full of creativity, curiosity, and connection.
From making tasty meals in the cafeteria to crafting friendship bracelets to learning the art chess -- students explored hands-on activities that were both fun and educational.
And that's not all -- many also enjoyed exciting off-site learning activities, making this a day to remember!











On Monday (5/19) we will be changing the menu to Chicken Wings instead of Chicken Patty Sandwiches.

The 8th Grade Dollywood field trip will return one hour later than previously scheduled this afternoon. Students will arrive at JSB around 8:30 p.m.

SRO Deputy Stainker presented WMS students with Perfect Attendance certificates.

A. McCroskey, an 8th grade student at Wallace Middle School, was named the United Way Student of the Year during the 2025 Impact Awards Ceremony. Students were nominated from 21 localities for their leadership, acts of service, and volunteerism while contributing to the betterment of their community. What an honor to win such a prestigious award! Washington County leaders and educators were present to honor her for this tremendous accolade regarding her generosity of time and talents. Congratulations, A. McCroskey! Keep making the world a better place!


On Tuesday, May 6th, there will be a meeting with Coach Hess for all upcoming 7th and 8th grade students interested in playing football next year. The parent meeting will be at John Battle in the Mason Building Auditorium room M110 at 5:30.

We are switching the menu for Wednesday and Thursday.
Tomorrow (4/30) will be chicken patty on bun instead of spaghetti.

Wallace Middle School celebrated bus driver appreciation day on this week. We recognized their hard work with a Bojangles breakfast! Thank you to all the bus drivers!


WMS Band Awards Night will now be on May 19th at 6pm in the Gym at Wallace Middle School.

Wallace Middle School baseball game for Friday (4/18) has been moved to John Battle High School field. Game starts at 5:00.

Mr. Stinson’s English and Science classes competed in a review Easter egg hunt on Wednesday.

It's National Assistant Principals Week. WMS appreciates Ms. Odum for her dedication to Wallace Middle School!


Pictures are being taken today. We are going to announce that all students get their pictures made even if they didn't bring an order form so parents have the option to order online later.
If you did not turn in a pre-order form and want to order pictures, you will need to call PhotoGenius directly at 276-386-2547 & let them know that you need to order your student's pictures that were taken at Wallace Middle School on April 11th. They will then give you what you need to place that order.
