Graduation Announcement

Due to the current restrictions that prohibit gatherings of more than 50 people during Phase II of the Phase Guidance for Virginia Schools, we are not permitted to provide a traditional graduation experience on June 19.  Additionally, with a limit of 50 individuals, we do not feel we could successfully accomplish any graduation type event that would be any more significant than the individual graduations that took place in May.  We sincerely apologize that we are not able to provide the Class of 2020 with a large group graduation experience given the current guidelines.

School Closed

Per Governor Northan's orders, all PK-12 schools will be closed for a minimum of two weeks. Therefore, Washington County Public Schools will be closed beginning Monday, March 16, 2020 through Friday, March 27, 2020. Further information will follow in the near future for faculty and staff.

Seniors: If you are planning on attending VHCC and you would like to enroll in classes for the summer & fall semesters, VHCC staff will be here as a courtesy to help you with enrollment on March 25th, you must schedule an appt. with Ms. Reid ASAP!

If you are interested in the Bristol Youth Leadership training program for next school year, stop by Mrs. Reid's office. Some of the benefits of the program: community services hours, resume builder, leadership skills, and 2 college credits from King University.

Yearbooks 2019-2020

AHS Beacon yearbooks are now on sale. If you want a personalized yearbook you must order before March 31st. You can order online or pick up an order form from room 216 (also attached). All Senior Ads are due March 31st. Yearbooks will arrive October 2020.
