AHS Swimming State Championships

On Thursday, February 15th, twelve swimmers from AHS Swim Team traveled to Richmond to compete in the VHSL State Championships.  The AHS Girls 400 Free relay team placed 8th overall, going to the Medal Podium to receive their awards.  Hannah M., Mikan S., Megan B. and Kimberly L. also broke an AHS record from 2005 with a 4:02;54, while winning the award.

Individuals placing in the top 16 were Jackson B. 13th in the 100 back, Kolbe B. 15th in the 100 breaststroke, Mack H. 10th in the 200 free, Mikan S. 15th in the 100 back, and Kimberly L. 7th in the 50 free and 7th in the 100 free. 

Congratulations to all the AHS Swimmers for a Great Season!

The Addams Family:A New Musical Comedy

medium_The Addams Family_0.jpgAHS Chorus Presents The Addams Family: A New Musical Comedy.  Performances are Friday night, February 16th @ 7pm, and Saturday, February 17th @ 2pm and 7pm. 

Cost at the door $8 adults and $5 students.

Math prep classes will start on April 3rd, meeting every Tuesday from 5pm-7pm for 5 weeks with Ms. Hay.  English prep classes will start on April 5th, meeting every Thursday from 5pm-7pm for 5 weeks with Mr. Sheets.

WCCS form Due March 1st

Seniors (Class of 2018), Your Washington County Community Scholar forms are due in guidance no later than March 1, 2018. All seniors should participate to earn cords for graduation. Please stop by guidance if you have any questions. The ceremony is by invitation only.

If you have not participated in previous years, please do so this current year.
