Congratulations to the wrestling team for finishing 8th out of 40 teams at the State Championship this weekend!The following wrestlers earned a place on the State podium and medals: Jack N. finished 3rd at 126 pounds, Jack C. finished 2nd at 145 pounds, William S. finished 3rd at 182 pounds, and Ethan R. finished 5th at 220 pounds.Congratulations to the entire team for an amazing season! |

On Thursday, February 15th, twelve swimmers from AHS Swim Team traveled to Richmond to compete in the VHSL State Championships. The AHS Girls 400 Free relay team placed 8th overall, going to the Medal Podium to receive their awards. Hannah M., Mikan S., Megan B. and Kimberly L. also broke an AHS record from 2005 with a 4:02;54, while winning the award.Individuals placing in the top 16 were Jackson B. 13th in the 100 back, Kolbe B. 15th in the 100 breaststroke, Mack H. 10th in the 200 free, Mikan S. 15th in the 100 back, and Kimberly L. 7th in the 50 free and 7th in the 100 free.Congratulations to all the AHS Swimmers for a Great Season! |
