Daily Announcements

  • Basketball tryouts will start next week. Boys will be form 6-8pm Monday through Friday. Girls will be from 8am-10:30am on Monday. If you are currently involved in a fall sport your tryout will begin when your current season is complete.

  • Attention Juniors: Candy money is due. Please bring your money and/or remaining candy to Ms. Beverly as soon as possible.

  • Swim Team, please meet in the library after school today.

  • Anyone interested in Indoor Track please stop by Coach Farris' classroom #217 today or tomorrow to pick up information for the upcoming season.

  • Congratulations to the cross country teams for their fourth place finishes in the Region Championships yesterday. Dylan Phillips was named to the All-Region team and qualified to compete at State. Kimberly Large also qualified to comptete at State.

  • This is the final call for students who wish to apply for World Language summer academies in French, Spanish, Latin and Japanese. Students wishing to apply for the Japanese academy need no prior experience with Japanese to apply.  See Ms. Fore in room 104 for information.

  • Attention all seniors! Please bring in your baby pictures for the senior video. Please bring in a baby picture and a current picture to either Ms. Whichard or Kassidy Justice. Please ger pictures in by Friday, Novemeber 2nd.

  • Good Luck to the cross country teams as they travel to Covington today to compete in the Region D Cross Country Championships. Let's go Falcons!

  • On Halloween Wednesday, Abingdon High will have a fundraiser in honor of October as Cancer Awareness Month. We are accepting $1 donations, but would appreciate more, to wear favorite hat throughout the day. Please give your donation to your first period teacher. All proceeds will go to our local Cancer Warriors.
