Jennifer Ann Reed, author of the Frost Legacy series, was awarded the 2018 Young Adult Virginia Author Award Honorable Mention award. Mrs. Reed is an Earth Science

Abingdon High School Teacher to Author

Jennifer A. Reed, Abingdon High School Earth Science and Chemistry teacher, never suffers from boredom. In her "free" time, Mrs. Reed is writing a young adult novel series, Frost Legacy. Her first book of the series, The Inheritance, was independently published on Amazon on October 24, 2017. Kitra, an orphan, lives with the tragedy of her parents' untimely death and the startling realization that she is a shifter. Compounding these startling events is the fact that others are out to get her.
